About DTS PTA

The Downtown School Parents and Teacher Association (PTA/PTSA) is organized under the authority of Iowa Congress of Parents and Teachers, (the Iowa PTA), a branch of National Congress of Parents and Teachers (National PTA). The association maintains 501(c)(3) under the IRS.

The DTS PTA Board is a group of parent volunteers who lead the organization, provide opportunities for families to engage with the school, and support DTS students and teachers/staff.

All parents/caregivers, teachers, and community stakeholders are invited to attend our bi-monthly meetings, called PTA Spotlight Nights, that take place on the second Tuesdays of odd numbered months at 6:30pm in the Downtown School (DTS) Library.
