  • Student Information

  • The DTS PTA collects two annual fees at the start of each school year. The DTS PTA will not ask you to participate in parent fundraisers throughout the year such as pizza, wrapping paper, and cookie dough sales.
    • Student Activity Fee: The PTA collects an annual fee per student on behalf of The Downtown School. 100% of this fee is given to the school to support field trips and experiences connected to classroom curriculum. The Student Activity Fee is $15 per student.
    • PTA Membership: This fee allows us to plan community building events for all DTS families throughout the year. It also provides a DTS T-shirt for each new DTS student so they can show their pride on the first day. The Downtown School does not receive a building budget from DMPS for family events. Membership (which does not require meeting attendance) is $10 per family
